Yeah, that letter makes some good points.
But I love a great gay joke. It's just that they're not on Leno. The good gay jokes are on Letterman.
Last night, his interview with Anne Heche was one of the funniest, most illuminating gay-themed things I've seen on TV in some time. He was acting all goofy for some girl-on-girl action, and she totally busted his chops with that whole, "why not just enjoy love and good sex, no matter who it comes from" bit. It was an amusing exchange, but also one with a great political message.
