thank you so much for your comments--they were not only my blog's first ever, they were potentially "useful,"--that is, if I actually follow your advice, of course!
BTW: I live kinda near you, in Venice! I'm just a few blocks north of Venice, right off of Lincoln Blvd. I don't go out much, but I am most likely to go to "The Brig" (on the corner of Palms and Abbott Kinney, north of Venice Blvd.) on Tuesday nights--it's free and there's the most incredible band that jams and the people are pretty mellow and non-Hollywood.
